Digital Signage Solution (DSS) is a complete Hardware & Software turnkey system, designed by StreamVision, that displays advertising messages and/or any piece of information (see below) to various terminals; commonly but not limited to, TV sets, through an IP network, either locally (in premises) or remotely.
DSS permits the automated distribution of audiovisual content to numerous outlets for public viewing.
DSS has been designed for different kind of markets, such as: hospitality, corporate, shopping malls, airports or stadiums; it aims at displaying various content for entertainment and promotion including information such as news, scores, warning messages, clips. It also allows insertion of advertisements in order to create an income when and where applicable.
DSS can be either a stand-alone system or a part of a complete IPTV architecture including live TV distribution or various interactive services for specific markets.
DSS includes the following functions:
- Updating of audiovisual content
- Distribution through networked infrastructure
- Reporting of all activities
- Possibility to combine various audio-visual sources on the same display (stored content + live TV channel + textual dynamic information)
- Management for multi-format files (power-point animations, live channels, flash, MPEG...)
- NOC (Network Operation Center) for distributed architectures and global centralized management.
