ATLAS™ is the commercial name of the intelligent application software for administrating the complete interactive TV system. ATLAS™ is the heart of the TV Head End, taking in charge configuration of ALCYONE appliances and other devices, serving client requests, hosting data base with customer’s information, channels catalogue, and various technical information. ATLAS™ software is running on the REQUEST SERVER. A dedicated LINUX platform is mandatory for each configuration. It can be located anywhere on the IP network, and its specification depends on the system.
